Dr. Robin Forman Rose received her medical degree, graduating with honors, from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, New York, in 2001. Dr. Forman Rose completed her residency training in Internal Medicine at Beth Israel Medical Center, New York, New York in 2004. She then went onto to complete her fellowship training in Gastroenterology at Beth Israel Medical Center in 2007. She has been practicing in Danbury, Connecticut since 2007 and has admitting privileges at Danbury Hospital.

 

Dr. Forman Rose is a Board Certified gastroenterologist specializing in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases and disorders of the digestive tract including irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease (Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis), celiac disease, colon cancer, abdominal pain, chronic constipation, diarrhea, and acid reflux disease. Dr. Forman Rose’s practice has a focus on woman’s gastrointestinal disorders and adolescent gastrointestinal conditions. Furthermore, she also specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of liver diseases including hepatitis B and C, cirrhosis and other conditions affecting the liver.

Dr. Forman Rose is trained and experienced in all endoscopic procedures such as colonoscopy, polyp removal, and esophagoduodenoscopy (EGD). She also has special experience in capsule endoscopy (pill camera of the small intestine), specific motility studies (Smart Pill) and non-surgical hemorrhoid treatment.
